It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.
It's made from soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It comes in charcoal or oak with various melange fabrics that will blend with a variety of styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs securely snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured for baby-safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number in case you experience any issues.
The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you'd expect from a crib to your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also has six height settings. In addition, there is an incline feature that can be used to help infants suffering from reflux or congestion. It is also machine-washable and is a must for all the spills and snot that can be found in a newborn baby!
If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a fantastic option as it can also be used as a separate crib, changing table and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it can transform into an actual cot. While it won't feed your baby or magically put them to sleep, it will rock them until they go off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive alternatives. It does have numerous excellent features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to fit under any bed.
Our testers appreciated the ease of access offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just one push of a switch. This was an enormous help during feeding times at night, as it meant they could easily reach inside and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted on its own however it isn't advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the parent's bed correctly.
